Day 2 in China
Day 2
I think I could do with little less adventure…. Today morning was all ok…got up on time…did my exercises, meditation, cooking. Made sweet pongal as today is the pongal festival…did my praying…got ready…even visited the breakfast table to have a coffee…gave my clothes for laundry…asked about the weekend transports booked the cab……
I go out…no cab…I come back…he watch man calls e…there is a cab…I get in…show him the address…e says no…I don’t understand…after 2 mins of incomprehensible conversation between the watch man and the driver….I understand that it is not the cab that was booked for me…another man got in….I got out…
My cab comes…I get in…this guy takes a different route ..not yesterday’s route….but I have to trust him…because I am not really sure if this is a different route…
After sometime he asks something…I show him the address…he starts asking me which way to go…after some distance I see the SAP board on top of a building…I point to it…he says how do I get there? Do I take a left or do I go straight? I said I donno…
He gets frustrated…throws his hands in the air and mumbles something…I am sure he is scolding me…but I have no idea what to do…somehow he gets to SAP…I get out and pay him…I suddenly realize I have left my ID card in the cab…I run behind the cab yelling…thank god…he stops….i apologize and take my ID card from the seat…
Now I am in office teaching people to say namaste….
I hope this is the end of adventure…I am not very fond of it…
