In my dad’s family, we have this bhajan that we do every thursday. This has been followed from the time of my grandfather. There is one set of songs and slokams that we sing and read. This is basically a baba bhajanai. But thatha has included lots of other slokams also. some of them are really nice…..atleast i love to say it.
For a long time we did not really look into the slokams. we just read it frm thatha’s old tattered boook. we dint know the meaning. But now Sangu (my dear sis) and I decided that we should get the right words of the slokams and also get the meanings.
Thanks to the internet. I was able to almost get all that i wanted. I am going to upload it as a series onto this blog site. I decided that it is also a type of music as we sing the slokams in some kind of a rythm.
