Prasadam

Author: vidhya

We then have the prasadam while singing the following song
Kavalayini namakedhu
Karunaalaya sai thunayulla podhu
Kavalayini namakedhu
Kanavilum anbharai kaakum prathaban
Karudhiya podhinil anugumo papamum
Manamkavarum avar mangala roopam
Manaigalukke oru valarchudar dheebam

What more worries do I have
when the merciful Sai is in my company
He is the great one who protects his devotees even in their dreams
When he is invoked, all our sins are washed away.
The heart is smitten by his beautiful form
He is the glowing lamp of every house.

during prasadam a variation my dad does is

Om akaala mrutyu haranam sarva vyaadhi nivaaranam
samasta paapa upashamanaM samastha deva padodakam pavanam shubam

Avoiding untimly death, to cure of all diseases , to relive all the sin – not very clear on the last line samasta deva padodakam pavanam shubam – roughly I guess it is to purify thyself by surrendering to all the devas (although you can subsitute samastha with your ishta dev)
