The Ganeshas made out of mud that we purchase for the ganesha chathurthi have the coloured paint on them….this paint is not eco friendly. When Ganesha is put in water…..this paint pollutes the water body.
The only mud Ganesha with the golden paint also is not good. The golden paint had lead in it…
It is good to buy complete mud ganeshas…
In Bangalore…you could get such Ganeshas in Ulsoor market…
last year I think they were also available in Jayanagar 9th block…
