Bhajanaseya
One of the first songs that I learnt in which there was some amount of Akaaram…Bhajanaseya
This is a song composed in Kedaaram by Annamacharya in Rupaka thalam. Nice song with some nice chittaswram in it. The song song goes like this:
Anupallavi:
Charanam 1:
japa tapamula saadhanache sanchalamu deera sadaa
Charanam 2:
ambikaa ramaNuni paadaambujamuna madi booni
Charanam 3:
kumaara gajamukhuni ganna kunda radanuni gurinchi
Actually I have leeanr this song a little different. …I have leanrt only the charanam 1. I was surprised to see that this song had more than one charanam.
I have also learnt a chittaswaram for it which goes like this
G m g r s g r r s n
P n s n s m g g r s
G m P n s m G r
S n P m G r S n
Actually talikng about Kedaaram itself…I realized that I have leanrt much more in this raagam….
I am currently learning one jathiswaram (set of just notes)…nice to sing.
I also realized that one of my favorite songs….sundari neeyum from the movie michael madana kama raajan is in this raagam.
Aa: S M1 G3 M1 P N3 S
Av: S N3 P M1 G3 R2 S
It is again a janya of the 29th melakartha…Dhira Shankarabharanam.
I wnated to get some more info on this. Will post more if I find more later
Vidya says:
You have written a wrong composer. Bhajana seya ve o manasa is by Anai Ayya who are brothers, contemporaries of Thygaraja.
