Yesudas concert – Kannada compositions

Next he went on to a kannada song. This was a guru song.
The song was composed in the vandhanadharini raagam.
This raagam seems to be quite rare as I did not find too many songs composed in this raagam. For that matter…. I did not find the song that Yesudas sand also. I tried looking a lot for it on the internet….no luck.
The song was
Guru vinayagi mareyveranna ee lokadholage
If anyone can find this song kindly let me know.
The raagam vandhanadharini is a janya of kalyani raagam (65th melakartha)

Av: S D2 P M2 R2 S
The next one was again a kannada composition of Purandara dasa.
The song was Hariya dasarige sariyunte.
Again dint find too many details of this song.

Here, the author says this was in the Sriranjini raagam.
Although I don’t know myself exactly what raagam this song was, I thought it would be a good time to explain something about the Sriranjini raagam.

The song is Sogasuga mrudanga thalamu
I haven’t learnt this song myself. But I have heard it in various occasions and I kind of love it.
