Meaning:
Lord, reclining in the ocean of milk! O Rama! Should you keep me immersed in sorrow? Did you not rush to the succour to elephant king Gajendra? I have heard of how you protected the honour of Draupadi by supplying clothes. I have also heard that you were responsible for the release of Bhakta Ramadasa from incarceration. For the sake of lotus-eyed Sita, you crossed the ocean and earned fame for yourself. One who possesses Taraka as name! Lord! Deign to accept and grace me.
