Yes…of course…the General Post Office in Bangalore….
2 of my friends had been to the post office today and they were amazed. They say they have never seen any other government service like this. They were welcomed with a smile…..asked to be seated (rather forced to be seated)….they were offered coffee….once they were done there was someone who came right there to take the glasses from them. ….
They were extremely amazed….
They were all the more happy to reach whitefield road in 30 minutes from Vidhana soudha…..so they had a double achievement today…the roads I guess were empty because most firms had declared a day off for Shivaratri….but I don’t think that was the reason for GPO’s treatment.
I am proud to say that the GPO that gives this treatment is in Bangalore:)
