Autumn in Bangalore??

Posted by: vidhya  /  Category: General

As a child i was taught in school that autumn was not a season in India….but I think there is a change….maybe the global warming…or something of that sort….
The outer ring road from HSR till silk board has trees with no leaves but only flowers….beautiful lavnedar coloured flowers….
In BTM layout there are again trees which are naked (no leaves…) with yellow flowers…awesome..
Just one thing….autumn to my knowledge comes after summer…..here it is after winter….guess the season is confused :)

We have six seasons, not just 4! We are technically finishing Hemant and moving into Vasant…the others are

    Sharad, Shishir, Grishma,Varsha.

The lavender flowers are Tabebuia purpurea :) Enjoy them for me, too!
